GroundLevel teamed up with Alexandria Real Estate Equities to reimagine of the former San Diego Tech Center. This new vision for the campus is based on the relationship between technology as a catalyst for scientific discovery and the resulting breakthroughs in molecular communications. This bold campus story is reflected in the campus landscape where a traditional Japanese Garden is married with meaningful outdoor spaces that support the forward thinking and collaborative nature of its tenants.

This new language for the campus is told through the use of honest materials and native plantings that support ARE’s larger mission to create a living biome that contributes to the restoration of San Diego’s native ecology.
