GroundLevel had the privilege of partnering with the San Diego Padres and Larimer Design Architecture in the complete re-imagining of Gallagher Square at Petco Park, also known as ‘The Park In The Park’. This revitalization project included a new playground and dog park, an enhanced ‘Play Ball’ wiffle ball field, an improved ‘Picnic Hill’, and the inclusion of the ‘Tony Gwynn Terrace’ viewing deck atop a ground level concession facility. The relocated Tony Gwynn statue will be a prominent feature visually connecting to the Trevor Hoffman statue and the ballpark beyond. The entire design team has re-imagined the park to provide the public with enhanced amenity spaces and an exciting venue for activities and events.
